"Keys" to Excellence in Your Schools
The NEA Foundation
KEYS is a comprehensive, school-based assessment and improvement system designed to provide education employees, parents, members of the community—all education stakeholders —with information useful for improving teaching and learning. A survey, a diagnostic instrument provides objective data on 42 indicators of school quality that define high performing schools.
The NEA Foundation supports a variety of efforts by teachers, education support professionals, and higher education faculty and staff to improve student learning in the nation's public schools, colleges, and universities.
